Star 1 Group, a division of Star 1 Records LLC, was founded by Laura Patterson, who began her career as a guitarist before transitioning into web development. Returning to music, she created "Musicians United," a 45,000-member group on Facebook supporting artists in a crowded industry.

This inspired Star 1 Records, which helped artists expand their reach through radio promotion and chart tracking. Though it ceased operations in 2019, its legacy of supporting artists and promoting fairness endures.
My Music Journey
I picked up the guitar at seven, and by the age of fifteen, I was not only teaching others but also saving my first high-quality electric guitar and amp. After high school, confidently pursued a professional music career, joined the Musicians Union, secured session gigs, and collaborated with some prominent names in the industry. It was an immensely rewarding experience that solidified my passion for music.

Eddy Faulkner
Eddy's arrival at Star 1 Records in 2014 marked the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey. His first release on the label, "I Won't Give Up," quickly rose to the top of the Rock Indie Chart, earning him critical acclaim and a legion of new fans. Eddy's talent as a songwriter and musician was on full display in this hit single, and it set the stage for even greater success to come. He also became an official MTV artist, cementing his place as a rising star in the industry.
